The Siya crew understands that Swallows have now also identified a Kaizer Chiefs player they are keen to have on their books next season.

Philani Zulu, who is out of contract in June, has emerged as a target for the Dube Birds, who are continuing to strengthen their relationship with their Soweto neighbours following talks behind the scenes to have defender Njabulo Ngcobo and Ruzaigh Gamildien move to Naturena as soon as the FIFA ban is lifted.
It’s not unusual for clubs to trade players in this fashion – for several years Mamelodi Sundowns have done so with SuperSport United, their Tshwane rivals.
Orlando Pirates have also established an unprecedented relationship with Chippa United with players moving from the Buccaneers to the Chilli Boys simply too many to count, including a coach – Rulani Mokwena – being seconded to Chippa a year ago.
Amakhosi and Swallows began their own entanglement when the Glamour Boys loaned out five players to the Dube Birds last season, but only one of them remained with coach Brandon Truter’s side in their first year back in the top flight.
That’s midfielder Given Thibedi, and the two clubs are still in talks to make that move permanent, while also negotiating other deals.
Ngcobo, as the Siya crew reported on Tuesday, looks set to join Chiefs next season as indications are that Sundowns are no longer in the race.

Gamildien, too, is expected to move to Naturena with the two clubs having already agreed a deal in principle.
Now, the Dube Birds also expect Chiefs to send some of their fringe players their way and Zulu is understood to be on that list if his Amakhosi contract is not extended.
Chiefs will be offloading a few more.
