They say all good things come in threes. This was indeed the case for Kaizer Chiefs, who for the first time this season, managed to score three goals, as they notched up another three points in their third consecutive match.

Just as he did in the match before, Chiefs starlet Nkosingiphile Ngcobo got the show on the road for the Soweto giants with an expertly taken goal to give the hosts the lead. Thereafter, the two sides the jostled it out for possession, but with literally his first touch of the game, Lebogang Manyama doubled the lead for Gavin Hunt’s men after some fine work down the left flank by Happy Mashiane.

The scorer then turned provider as Manyama coolly set up Mashiane, who dispatched beyond Washington Arubi to send the men from Naturena into seventh place on the DStv Premiership standings.
