Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila has confirmed that Thabang Monare and Sifiso Hlanti have been allowed to move on with their careers, amid talks of a potential move to Kaizer Chiefs for both stars.
As reported by the Siya crew, with Gavin Hunt having been confirmed as the head coach of Chiefs, some players that the experienced mentor coached at Bidvest Wits are expected to join him at the Soweto giants, depending on the club’s appeal against the FIFA ban.
Monare and Hlanti starred under Hunt at Wits as the Students improved a lot in recent years under the four-time league winning coach, including winning a rare league title, before the club was sold to TTM chairman Masala Mulaudzi and relocating to Limpopo.
However, any move to Chiefs for any of the players will depend on the club’s two-window transfer ban appeal, which the club confirmed to have submitted last week – and as reported by the Siya crew – the newly appointed Amakhosi coach could be the deciding factor as to whether some of the players join the club in the coming weeks.
TTM has issued a statement confirming the release of the two stars:
