Kaizer Chiefs look set to make some drastic changes to prepare for the upcoming season after another challenging and disappointing compaign, and a former player has offered advice.
With Amakhos set to undertake a rebuilding process, Ntokozo Sikhakhane is of the opinion that it won't be easy to let go of some players but they have no choice, because changes need to be made.
"It is a very tough situation because the club has had some changes with coaches which made some players not get enough chances this season. But for the club to reclaim their position, they must definitely make changes," Sikhakhane told the Siya crew.
"Even though I can't really mention players by name but mostly senior players must be released, and reward those youngsters who have been performing for the past two years or so.
"I honestly don't expect any changes next season, besides a more youthful team moving forward."
Koloba has also identified players that he feels must be added to the club which will bring change and says that Victor Letsaolo tops that list.
"I think Victor Letsaolo is good player, top finisher and hard worker, he is someone that can be good but hopefully the pressure won't be too much for him because we know what big teams can do to players.
"Besides him, there's no player locally that can do any difference from the current team because there's talent, just that mentally they haven't been good."
