A coach who was coaching in this season’s CAF Champions League is interested in the vacant coaching position at Kaizer Chiefs.
Amakhosi are in the market for a new coach after terminating the contract of Gavin Hunt last week and indications are that Stuart Baxter is the next man to take charge of one of the most sought-after positions in African football, as reported by the Siya crew.
That, however, won't stop coaches from around the world showing an interest in the position and it is believed that Serbian coach Zoran Manojlovic, who is currently working for Algerian outfit CR Belouizdad, is planning on throwing his name into the equation, with the hope of getting an opportunity to work for the Soweto giants.
According to information received by the Siya crew, Manojlovic will be offered to Amakhosi in the coming days, with his CV set to be sent to the club.
He was appointed by CR Belouizdad after leaving Sudanese outfit Al Hilal, a club he coached through the Champions League group stages. Hilal played DStv Premiership winners Mamelodi Sundowns during the group stages.
