Following his exit from Kaizer Chiefs, Ryan Moon is looking to land himself a deal in Scotland – and did his chances no harm yesterday as he scored his first goal at the club.
The 22-year-old is now officially a free agent after his Amakhosi contract came to an end on June 30, and he is looking to take the next step in his career as he trials with Hibernian FC in the Scottish Premiership.
Moon came on as a second half substitute for Hibs in a pre-season friendly against Arbroath on Wednesday, and - while they lost 3-2 – showed his prowess by grabbing their second goal in the game with a header from a corner.
At this point in time it remains to be seen how long the forward will be given to impress Paul Heckingbottom and his technical team and land a deal in Scotland, but he is likely to get another runout this weekend when they play another friendly against Dunfermline Athletic.
Moon started training with the Scottish top-flight outfit last week.
