A former Kaizer Chiefs star has joined the chorus of some in the fraternity who have called for the return of Zimbabwean striker Knowledge Musona to the Soweto giants.
Though still contracted to Anderlecht, Musona would be open to a return to Mzansi where he achieved success with Amakhosi, as he is not in the plans at the Belgian outfit.
The Warriors captain will have to make a decision on where he wants to play next, as he has also attracted interest from abroad.
“For Chiefs, he would be a good addition to their camp, for a team that has been trying to win the league, and possibly they will be playing in the Champions League next year. He would be a good addition to Chiefs to give them more firing power, because they have (Leonardo) Castro and they have (Samir) Nurkovic, and if you add Musona then you would be talking about great goalscorers,” Nauseb told the Siya crew.
Chiefs confirmed yesterday (Wednesday) that their appeal against the FIFA transfer ban is set for 8-9 September with the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has also shown interest in the 29-year-old forward.
