News reaching the Siya crew is that negotiations between Kaizer Chiefs and Golden Arrows may not be concluded during this transfer window.
Amakhosi have expressed their interest in Abafana Besithende attacker Pule Mmodi, as previously reported by the Siya crew and it's understood that talks are still ongoing, with both teams still trying to find a common ground for the price of the player.
According to insiders, Arrows are open to selling Mmodi, but only at the rice price although Chiefs are still not convinced that he is worth the asking price as they looking at his age, but the Durban outfit not backing down on the amount.
Another insider reveals that Mmodi may have to accept that he may end up leaving KwaZulu-Natal in the next transfer window if Chiefs doesn't reach agreement with Arrows, unless another team joins the race now and offers Abafana Besithende what they want.
It also understood that Orlando Pirates are monitoring the situation even though the player has made it clear that Chiefs is the team he wants to join and Arrows are willing to let him go but with talks dragging, he may continue in Durban until December and leave in January.
