Reports emerging out of Egypt is that Pitso Mosimane is plotting an audacious move for one of Kaizer Chiefs’ brightest talents!
Last week Mosimane was on SA FM, where he told Thabiso Mosia that he has his eye on a South African player that is is not currently playing for Sundowns, in reference to Gaston Sirino – while Keagan Dolly, who was also linked with a move to Ahly has subsequently joined Kaizer Chiefs.
Now, Al Ahly legend Ahmed Shobier has revealed that starlet Nkosingiphile Ngcobo is actually the player who Mosimane is chasing – and he is not the only one.
“The South African player that Mosimane spoke about is Kaizer Chiefs’ winger Ngcobo and he is not the only player that Al Ahly are speaking with,” Shobier told KingFut in an interview on Tuesday.
Mosimane and Ahly had an up-close and personal look at the 21-year-old when he started the CAF Champions League final against the Red Eagles, a match that Chiefs lost 3-0.
It now remains to be seen whether Chiefs would be open to selling the youngster that has been a revelation since breaking into the Amakhosi first team under coach Ernst Middendorp last season, given that the Glamour Boys have just reinforced their squad with the addition of Dolly and Cole Alexander this week.
