Kaizer Chiefs made history on Saturday in the CAF Champions League by reaching the quarterfinals of the continental competition for the first time ever.
The club's former coach Muhsin Ertugral is giving them a chance to go bigger.
Amakhosi came back twice from behind to draw 2-2 away against Horoya thanks to goals from Daniel Cardoso and Khama Billiat which took them to last eight of the contest.
Ertugral, who is seen as one of the top coaches who won the African competition (Nelson Mandela Cup) in 2001 and has a very special bond with the club, has congratulated the team and coach Gavin Hunt for their hard work.
"Firstly congratulations to the whole team for being in the knockout stages, its a huge thing for the club and now, anything can happen," - Muhsin said, speaking to the Siya crew.
Despite their purple patch in the continental showcase, Amakhosi have been struggling with form in the domestic league, as they fight for a Top Eight finish
Ertugral hopes the past weekend's results can be morale booster and change things for better under Hunt who has been under so much pressure.
"The season has been a challenge but these type of experience can actually get the team together and build a momentum. Hopefully these will take the team to a good finishing line and better things under Hunt."
