Mkhanyiseli Siwahla has sent a message to the Kaizer Chiefs new signing whom he has played against in Europe.
Chiefs confirmed this week to have signed Serbian striker Samir Nurković on a three-year contract.
The 27-year-old player previously played for KFC Komarno in Slovakia, having joined them last year.
Siwahla had been on the opposite side of the field with Nurković at some point, while the former Chippa United player played for Partizán Bardejov.
During a recent match between Komarno and Bardejov, Siwahla came on as a late substitute as his side beat Nurković’s 2-1 at the Mestský Stadium in November.
The 30-year-old Nyanga-born player has wished Nurković well for his new club, while also making an appeal to the Soweto giants about himself.
“He (Nurković) is from Europe and I know how hard it is in Europe. I wish him all the best of luck. We are also available, Chiefs shouldn’t forget that we are available,” said Siwahla.
In a recent interview with Soccer Laduma, the midfielder confirmed interest for coming back to further his career in Mzansi.
