It was previously reported by the Siya crew that the central defender could be one of the players on his way out of Chiefs in January as the Glamour Boys look to cash in on him rather than lose him for free at the end of the season, and he’s unlikely to be short of potential suitors if he does eye a move away.
The 25-year-old has played almost 100 games for Chiefs since Stuart Baxter gave him his debut back in 2014, but has fallen down the pecking order under Ernst Middendorp and has made just one Absa Premiership start in 2019/20 so far.
Now, with the January transfer window approaching, Mike Makaab says that they will make a decision regarding the defender in the next few weeks – suggesting that his future could lie away from Naturena.
Speaking to the crew this week, Makaab said, “We’ll start looking at opportunities for him in the January transfer window, but there’s nothing concrete at the moment.”
