Touted as one of the young and upcoming talents when came through the development ranks, defender Letlhogonolo Mirwa has been in football wilderness since parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs.
Having joined Chiefs in a big move in 2018 from ABC Motsepe League club Buya Msuthu, Mirwa struggled to make an impact at Amakhosi, which led to his release from the club last year.
The 24-year-old Rustenburg-born player has been wihout a club in Mzansi’s topflight since September 2019.
The left-back left the Soweto giants without having made his official Absa Premiership debut.
Mirwa’s contract with Chiefs would have finished in June 2021, had the agreement to terminate not come to place, as he was signed on a three-year deal plus option for a further year, when he joined from the North West-based tthird tier club.
The defender came through the junior ranks of Mamelodi Sundowns, when his career started.
