Leonardo Castro has been keeping up to date with European football and revealed that in his free time he enjoys teaching his young son about the great Lionel Messi.
Kaizer Chiefs players returned to club training last month where they have been underway with preparations for the resumption of the 2019/20 season.
However, with fixtures yet to return, players still have some free time on their hands and Chiefs’ Castro has been staying home and watching a lot of football from the European leagues
“I watch a lot of soccer, including the English Premiership, the Spanish LaLiga and the Italian Serie A. Above all, I enjoy following Barcelona games. I am also teaching my three-year-old son, Valentin, about Lionel Messi. We sit on the couch and watch games together. He listens attentively. He enjoys watching soccer,” he said on Chiefs official website.
The 31-year-old also had a message for the Amakhosi fans.
“We are working hard to be ready for the first game. We all know what you expect from us. We want to bring you happiness in these trying times. Please be careful. Wear your mask, keep social distance, sanitize and please keep safe.”
