The Soweto giants will host Ernst Middendorp’s Maritzburg United at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, with the Team of Choice going into the encounter off the back of their first win of the season.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, Lazarous Kambole explained that they will take some confidence from their CAF Champions League win, while also admitting that Maritzburg won’t be an easy side to come up against.
“I am happy with the result, I am happy that we have qualified for the group stages of the Champions League, it was not an easy game, for the past games we have not been doing well but we fought in Angola. This game has given us the confidence in the next game,” he said.
“It is not going to be easy, we are soldiers and we are ready. We just have to continue working extra hard and believing in what I can do on the pitch. I am on the right track and by the grace of God, I will start scoring and things will get back to normal.
“Coming from the win, I think they are motivated so it will not be easy but we just have to go all out and make sure we win the game.
