As one of the most valuable players in the DStv Premiership, it comes as no surprise that Khama Billiat leads the list of Chiefs’ most valuable players over the age of 30.
He is currently out of action at the moment with a fractured leg, and it is evident that Chiefs have missed his presence. Despite the fact that he hasn’t been at his mesmerizing best in a Chiefs shirt, but having Billiat on the field makes a difference for Gavin Hunt’s men.
According to Transfermarkt, the Zimbabwe international has a market value of €1.5m (±R26.7m) making him the club’s most valuable player as well as their most valuable player over the age of 30.
The man from Harare, who will be 31 in August, has featured in 16 games for Chiefs in all competitions this season and has managed to find the back on one occasion, while serving up five assists.
Closely behind Billiat on the list is Mzansi’s finest Itumeleng Khune, who has a transfer value of €775k (±R13.8m). The 33-year-old has managed to maintain his impressive value despite having a professional career that spans for nearly two decades.
