Pirates’ chairman sadly lost his wife, Mantoa Khotleng-Khoza, this month in news that was confirmed via a statement from the Premier Soccer League on Friday evening, and this Saturday she will be laid to rest at Westpark Cemetery in Johannesburg.
Motaung, who is a long-time friend of Khoza and his family, conveyed his condolences via Amakhosi’s official website on Tuesday, speaking of the dearly departed’s contribution to the Buccaneers.
Chiefs’ chairman said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with Orlando Pirates and football fraternity at large… We offer Orlando Pirates fraternity our heartfelt deepest sympathy at the loss of the pillar of strength to the chairman, Dr Khoza. May the Buccaneers fraternity find comfort in the contribution that Mme Mantoa has made to the club.”
