The Glamour Boys have one more home game left for 2019 as they go into the last few weeks of the year sitting pretty on top of the table, and whatever happens they will now be league leaders when 2020 gets underway.

Chiefs got back to winning ways last week as they thumped Stellenbosch 4-0 in Cape Town on the way to extending their lead at the top of the Absa Premiership log, and can now not be caught between now and the turn of the year.

Fans in Gauteng, the home of Amakhosi, will not get to see their team in action before 2020 though, with their final home game being taken to Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban when they face Bloemfontein Celtic this coming Saturday.

With Mamelodi Sundowns in CAF Champions League action this weekend, Chiefs have the chance to go 13 points clear of Masandawana if they can beat Celtic and make it eight league wins in a row – something their Durban-based fans will be eager to see.

In a statement on the club’s official website today, Chiefs’ confirmed the details of their last home game of the year, saying, “On form Kaizer Chiefs will host Bloemfontein Celtic at their alternative home venue, Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium. This much anticipated Absa Premiership match is scheduled for Saturday, 7th December. Kick-off is at 20:15.”
