As Kaizer Chiefs edge closer to welcoming new players to Naturena next season, the Siya crew has been informed of the contract length of one of the individuals the club is believed to have sealed a deal with.
Amakhosi will be eligible to sign new players after they served a transfer ban and one of the players who is set to form part of the team next season is left winger Kgaogelo Sekgota, who is currently in the colours of Swallows FC.
Sekgota, who joined the Dube Birds on a short-term deal, worked with Amakhosi coach Gavin Hunt at Bidvest Wits last season and the two are set to reunite in the 2021/22 campaign, as the Soweto giants look to redeem themselves after a poor run this season.
The Siya crew has been informed that Sekgota is likely to be on a three-year deal at Chiefs. According to an informant, the deal is as good as done and an announcement can be expected before the start of next season.
The 23-year-old from Seshego in Limpopo, who has played his football in Portugal, has bagged three goals and two assists in 22 appearances for the Dube Birds this season.
The likes of Buhle Mkhwanazi, Phatutshedzo Nange and Brandon Petersen are expected to also join Amakhosi next season.
