A reported Kaizer Chiefs target has confirmed that he is on his way to South Africa as clubs advance their preparations for new season.
It has been recently reported by the Siya crew that Chiefs have been linked with Zambian midfielder, Clatous Chama, although the Soweto giants have so far signed his countryman Lazarous Kambole, among some of their new players.
However, after Chama recently signed a new deal with his current club Simba SC, it has become increasingly unlikely that he would be signed by Chiefs, as indicated by sources in the know.
In addition, Chiefs have been faced with a conundrum due to their foreign quota, as the Soweto giants have signed some players from outside Mzansi to add them to the foreigners already in coach Ernst Middendorp’s squad.
Meanwhile, Chama has confirmed that he is on his way to Mzansi with Simba.
The Tanzanian club where Chama is contracted to has confirmed that they will be spending some time in Mzansi as part of their pre-season preparations.
“The Championships leave this time to go to South Africa to prepare for the new season),” tweeted the club.
