Kaizer Chiefs used their superstar power for good on Thursday after they gave back to young South Africans on Mandela Day.

The Glamour Boys are coming to the end of their pre-season camp in northern Gauteng after spending around a week there in the build-up to the 2019/20 season, and in honour of Nelson Mandela they visited a children's home in Hammanskraal to give out some gifts for the youngsters.
Ernst Middendorp and his players took pictures with the kids and staff as they took time out of their schedule to give back to South African youth, with the club eager to make their Mandela Day count with youngsters that love them.
Chiefs are now heading out to Botswana today for tomorrow's friendly encounter with Township Rollers in Gaborone, where fans could get a first look at their new players in action after the likes of Lazarous Kambole, James Kotei, Samir Nurkovic and Kearyn Baccus joined them recently.
The Amakhosi now have just two weeks before their first game of the Absa Premiership season against Highlands Park, and Middendorp will be eager to see his players stake a claim for a starting berth in the upcoming friendlies with Rollers and then Orlando PIrates in the Carling Black Label Cup.
