Frosler Opens Up On Life At Chiefs, And Their ‘Big Challenge’
After missing out on silverware with Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana failing at the first hurdle in the COSAFA Cup, Reeve Frosler is looking forward to the break…
The 21-year-old defender joined Chiefs back in January after leaving Bidvest Wits, but had to wait until April for this debut after Ernst Middendorp decided to take time to make sure he was able to make the step now.
Now, having just finished international duty with David Notoane in Durban, the Glamour Boy is aiming to come back revitalised after the off-season now that he’s got used to things at Naturena, and he’ll be hoping to get a bigger chance to show off his skills in 2019/20.
Speaking to the club’s official website after the COSAFA tournament, Frosler admitted, “Being at Kaizer Chiefs is a big adjustment, but over time I have settled well and I’m getting to adapt in the setup.”
Now though, it’s time to take a break, and the defender has revealed what he’ll be getting up to before the club return for pre-season later this month, saying, “I look forward to spending some time resting back home in Port Elizabeth, but mostly I can’t wait to return to action. There’s a big challenge ahead of us in the new season. We have to make amends, do better and make our supporters happy.”
The Glamour Boys are due to return to Naturena on June 26 as their pre-season gets underway prior to the new campaign.
