Ernst Middendorp revealed before the game that the Kenyana midfielder was ‘not yet available for selection’ as they went into battle with Lidoda Duvha, and it remains to be seen whether he’s got his work permit to play for the Amakhosi yet.

Even if Akumu has acquired his work permit in time for Saturday afternoon’s game, though, only time will tell whether his fitness levels are where they need to be in order for Middendorp to hand him a place in the matchday squad.
