Lazarous Kambole’s move to Kaizer Chiefs has already been confirmed, and there is talk that he may jet into South Africa shortly to undergo his medical at the club.
The Zambian international is currently in the process of trying to help his current employers, ZESCO United, clinch a league and cup double, starting with the Absa Cup final at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium this weekend.
Kambole got an assist and won a penalty in the semi-final win over Buildcon, and will continue to play for ZESCO in their last two games of the season before his Amakhosi contract kicks in on July 1.
With that in mind, the attacker will miss the start of Chiefs’ pre-season (they return on June 26), but the Siya crew has been led to believe that he may come to South Africa within the next week to complete his medical prior to his pending move to Naturena.
