Chiefs’ New Partnership Continues Progress

Kaizer Chiefs were part of an event in Durban as they teamed up with one of their newest partners in an attempt to continue the good work being done for aspiring women.

Earlier this year the Glamour Boys announced that they had teamed up with Pink Codrs Africa, describing them as ‘an initiative that is challenging the current shortage of female software developers around the world’ and is looking to ‘build a strong network of female software developers around Africa’.

The club’s digital manager, Kemiso Motaung, represented the Amakhosi at the Durban University of Technology on Friday, speaking on behalf of the club at the Women at the Forefront of Tech Transformation event that took place as they looking to realise their goal of ‘empowering women in this ever-growing industrious revolution’.

Speaking about the event, the club said on their official Twitter “Well done to our #KCWomen who came out to our meet-up last week at Durban University of Technology. Shout out to the super women at PinkCodrs Africa, Mbali Hlongwane, Amanda Mathe (Qhakaza Girl) & Chrystal Austin (Growing People Great)… Here is to a future with Women in Tech.”

Meanwhile, the club’s senior team themselves are working hard preparing for this weekend’s crunch game against Mamelodi Sundowns, with the top-of-the-table clash set to decide who will end the weekend sitting pretty on top of the Absa Premiership log.
