Kaizer Chiefs have been linked with several players in recent weeks, and this upcoming transfer window could be a busy one at Naturena.

The club are currently sat in seventh place in the Absa Premiership, and could well be in line for their lowest league finish since coming ninth back in 2006/07 when they amassed just 42 points after 30 games (they currently have 37).
With that in mind, Ernst Middendorp is expected to ring the changes in the next transfer window, with numerous players linked with an exit and even more linked with a possible move to the club.
Who would you want to join?
While the bulk of Chiefs’ reported transfer targets are currently playing within the country, most of all inside the Absa Premiership, there is a handful of players playing overseas that are thought to have caught their eye in recent months.
Lazarous Kambole and Jesse Were of ZESCO United both played their part in knocking the Glamour Boys out of the CAF Confederation Cup earlier this season and look to have left their mark on management, while Idris Mbombo of the Democratic Republic of Congo is impressing at Al-Hilal in Sudan.
The Big Ones…
Chiefs have brought in a host of big names of late including the likes of Khama Billiat, Leonardo Castro and Lebogang Manyama, and it looks like there are a few more on their list of potential targets going into the new season.
Amakhosi have been linked with a late push for in-demand Fortune Makaringe, who is also being chased by Pirates, while another player who they may face a battle for is Bidvest Wits’ Thabang Monare.
Given their lack of goals in recent years, it will come as no surprise to hear of their reported interest in top scorer, Mwape Musonda, though Black Leopards will be reticent to let go a man who has played a massive role for them this season with his 13 goals so far.
Which position do you think should be Chiefs’ biggest concern in the next window?
