Kaizer Chiefs could be boosted by the return of Khama Billiat when they face off against Stellenbosch tonight.
The Zimbabwean ace was forced to sit out the Telkom Knockout semi-final defeat to Maritzburg United after returning from international duty with a hamstring problem.
The 29-year-old will be itching to get back out on the field as he aims to find form at club level once again, and Ernst Middendorp has suggested that tonight could see him back in action.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the German said, “We have been observing Khama since his return from national duty...He trained yesterday and looked better than last week. We will monitor him before making a decision on his fitness.”
Billiat’s return would be a big boost for the Glamour Boys as they look to return to winning ways at a stadium where he scored plenty of goals during his time with Ajax Cape Town.
