Kaizer Chiefs’ three most valuable players have all seen a big drop in terms of their market value in 2020, with Itumeleng Khune seeing the biggest fall in terms of how much he’s seen to be worth.

Khune has played just two games this season due to injury and then the rise to prominence of Daniel Akpeyi, and that lack of gametime has seen his market value plummet alongside teammate, Khama Billiat, who has also struggled for regular minutes in 2019/20.
Using the German website, Transfermarkt.com, Soccer Laduma took a look through the Chiefs’ current squad to see which of them have the highest market value at this current point in time, and while Khune and Billiat have both dropped, they still sit on top of the pile at R35m and R18m respectively, followed by Daniel Cardoso who has seen his value rise by almost R1m to R16.8m.
George Maluleka is the fourth-highest valued player according to Transfermarkt at R15m, but has seen his value drop by just under R1m following the latest update last month – though that could change once he completes his move to Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of the current season.
