Kaizer Chiefs’ start to 2020 just keeps getting better after the Premier Soccer League confirmed that one of their players has added a trophy to his mantlepiece.
Dumsani Zuma has been mostly used as a ‘super-sub’ by Ernst Middendorp over the course of the 2019/20 season so far, but has played a big role in helping his side climb to the top of the Absa Premiership table with his goals and assists up until now.
Now, in the first monthly award handed out in 2020, it has been confirmed that the Goal of the Month winner for November has gone to the 24-year-old attacker for one of his goals against Chippa United last year in their 2-0 victory.
Zuma also went on to score against Stellenbosch FC a few weeks later to grab his third goal of the season, while he was among the contributors once again this past weekend as he came on to set-up Samir Nurkovic’s goal in the 3-0 win over Cape Town City.
Chiefs fans will now be voting for Nurkovic as he guns for the December Goal of the Month gong for his strike against Bloemfontein Celtic last month as the club look to add another piece of silverware to their tally for the season.
