Amakhosi Confirm New Signing, Reveal Contract Details

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed their latest arrival at the club, announcing a player that they have picked up from Australia for the new season.

The Siya crew recently reported that the Amakhosi were eager to land 27-year-old Kearyn Baccus as they bolster their squad for the new season, and his deal at Naturena has now been made official after he touched down in Mzansi this week.

A statement on the club's official website read, "Kaizer Chiefs would like to confirm the arrival of Kearyn Byron Baccus. The midfielder lands in Naturena from Australia where he played for Melbourne City FC in the A-League.

"The 27-year old, affectionately known as ‘Kizza’, is a Durban born South African. He spent most of his life in Australia after has family moved there when he was eight... Baccus has penned a three year deal with Amakhosi."

Baccus was born in South Africa and can therefore be registered as a local.
