The Siya crew recently reported that Emmanuel Letlotlo had been left in the dark about his Amakhosi future after failing to make a name for himself since his promotion into the senior team, and now it has been announced that his days at the club are over.
Chiefs confirmed on their official website today the full list of those who are leaving the club either by mutual termination or when their deals expire at the end of this month, adding Letlotlo to the list of Hendrick Ekstein, Bhongolethu Jayiya, Ryan Moon, Virgil Vries, Gustavo Páez, Khotso Malope and Brylon Petersen – eight in total.
The club also added that more exits are planned, saying that ‘talks are proceeding for the release of two or more players’, after stating that the decisions on the released players were made ‘for a variety of reasons’.
Letlotlo played a total of five Absa Premiership games for the Glamour Boys following his promotion to the senior ranks, and will – like many of his former teammates – be on the lookout for the next step in their respective careers.
Chiefs have already confirmed the arrival of Lazarous Kambole, however they are expected to bring in more new faces in the coming weeks after they return for the start of pre-season tomorrow.
