Stanton Fredericks, who racked up almost 100 games for Amakhosi during his time at the club, waxed lyrical about his old employers as they continue to celebrate their 50th-anniversary.
Now 41, the ex-Bafana Bafana international was asked what he felt ‘makes Chiefs tick’ after being photographed wearing their eye-catching new commemorative jersey, and he pointed out the role that the club has played away from the football field as well as on it.
Speaking to the club’s official website this week, ‘Stiga’ said, “Kaizer Chiefs’ is ‘Love & Peace’... The club is also known as the Glamour Boys.
