The 22-year-old centre back already has almost fifty senior appearances to his name for Amakhosi despite his young age, and has been earmarked as one for the future as he continues his progression under Ernst Middendorp.
Having come through the club’s youth academy alongside the likes of Happy Mashiane, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and others, the defender is eager to leave his mark at Naturena when given the chance, and has spoken about what it means to don the famous gold and black jersey.
In a quote on the club’s social media channels, the Olympic hopeful said, "I have been fortunate enough to have been at Chiefs for the last eight years of my life, coming through the youth system and now being part of the first team...
“Chiefs is a team with a lot of history and success, I am glad to be here at the team to write my own history and be part of creating history for the team.”

Ngezana had been hoping to make David Notoane’s South African squad for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo at the end of this season, however the Coronavirus pandemic means that he will now have to wait until next year to see whether he’s able to make the cut or not.
