Just a few weeks remain before the return of the DStv Premiership and Kaizer Chiefs are preparing for the last few months of the campaign.
Amakhosi travelled to Cape Town and have been in training, while also doing some activities for team building. Both Samir Nurkovic and Lebogang Manyama are part of the camp and look set to be ready for the final stretch in the season after struggling with injury in the first half of the campaign.
Dumisani Zuma, who was suspended last year for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, is also part of the team in the Mother City.
The club recently had their PSL DC hearing postponed after they referred their case to the SAFA arbitration. The club was charged by the PSL for failing to honour their DStv Premiership match against Cape Town City and Golden Arrows in December, due to the Covid-19 breakout at Naturena. Chiefs, however, made a decision to seek legal help with the matter, as they look to fight the outcome.
As things stand, there is a big chance that the three points will be awarded to City and Arrows, but Amakhosi are not going down without a fight.
While they wait to see what happens with the matter, the club is working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure they are ready for when local football resumes next month.
