Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter has explained how he intends on using the returning Leonardo Castro.
Castro started on the bench for Amakhosi against Maritzburg United on Sunday evening after a long absence due to injury.
The Colombian made his first appearance of the campaign when he came on as a substitute in the side's 1-0 victory over the KZN outfit, and will give Baxter more options in attack.
The team has struggled recently with options in the number nine position, but Castro's return means Baxter can play around with different formations in the upcoming matches. The former Bafana Bafana coach, however, will not throw the 32-year-old forward into the deep end.
"It's nice to see Leo Castro back on the field. He's not ready by a long way yet, but I am hoping to give him 10 minutes, 10 minutes, 10 minutes and see how quickly we can get him back," Baxter told the Amakhosi media department after the win over the Team of Choice.
Castro, who joined the Soweto giants in 2018, had last played for Amakhosi in the CAF Champions League semi-final against Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca last season.
