Ernst Middendorp has been summoned to Naturena, the Siya crew has been told.

Amakhosi are still reeling from the devastating outcome of the final round of the Absa Premiership campaign, in which they surrendered their lead at the top and handed Mamelodi Sundowns a record 10th league title.
Chiefs led at the top for the majority of the season, but Downs leapfrogged them on the final day – and for the first time – to clinch the championship by two points.
Although Middendorp has a year remaining on his contract at Naturena, he has come under immense pressure and it is not expected that he will stay in the Chiefs hot seat, with Gavin Hunt the front runner to take over.

The Siya crew reported on Monday that there was no formal confirmation yet from the club on the way forward, with Middendorp and the players leaving the Premier Soccer League bio-bubble on Sunday after their final match a day earlier.
The meeting at Naturena could address several issues and even a debrief from the coach on the season, with players perhaps weighing in.
It’s not thought a decision on Middendorp will be taken immediately, but given talk that Hunt is a hot favourite to succeed him, this should not be ruled out.
