Amakhosi Crunch Talks Still Underway…
Kaizer Chiefs are still in the process of finalising their squad for next season, with talks ongoing with various players about incomings and outgoings.
The club has already confirmed that Ryan Moon’s contract with the club will not be renewed when it expires at the end of this month, while it is thought that there are ongoing discussions with Mario Booysen regarding his potential exit from Naturena via a mutual termination.
Emmanuel Letlotlo is also set to meet with club management to discuss his situation, and Leonardo Castro has been informed that he has been placed on the transfer list should an interested party want to snap him up for the 2019/20 season.
Another potential exit is that of Letlhogonolo Mirwa after a whole season without getting the chance to make his debut despite a long-term deal for the 24-year-old, and there has also been no word on Brylon Petersen as he also draws to the end of his current contract at Naturena.
Meanwhile, rumours continue to circulate regarding potential acquisitions of Lazarous Kambole from ZESCO United, Emmanuel Okwi of Simba SC and SuperSport United’s Evans Rusike as they look to solve their goalscoring problem, though there has – as yet – been no official word from the club on who their potential targets may be.
Siya sources have explained that more talks are taking place this week as the club looks to finalise Ernst Middendorp’s squad for the upcoming 2019/20 campaign, and it already looks like it could be a much-changed side that goes into battle when the new season gets underway in a few months’ time.
