Daniel Akpeyi has kept the likes of Itumeleng Khune, Bruce Bvuma and Brylon Petersen on the bench and in the stands over the course of the 2019/20 campaign so far, even when all of them were fully fit an available for selection, something that has managed to raise a few eyebrows.

Akpeyi’s contract is set to expire at the end of the current season as he enters into the last six months of his contract at Naturena following his move from Chippa United in 2019, but Siya sources have suggested that he’s on the brink of committing his future to the club.
