Chiefs are expected to ring the changes at the start of the season in terms of their playing personnel, something they haven’t been able to do for the last two transfer windows owing to the club’s two window transfer ban handed down by FIFA.
Suggestions on who the Glamour Boys should sign at the end of the campaign have been flowing in from all corners, and now the club’s former Public Relations Officer Putco Mafani, is the latest to weigh in on Chiefs’ transfer options.
Mafani, who was much revered by the Chiefs faithful during his tenure with the club between between 1999 and 2005, in a tweet directed at Chiefs football manager Booby Motaung, advised Amakhosi to chase the signing of Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo, who was the hero in TTM’s historic Nedbank Cup win.
Mafani heaped praise on the 25-year-old for his ‘football brains galore’ following his Man of the Match performance in his side’s 1-0 win over Chippa United.
“Third Man of the Match Award in a row. Bobsteak here is a player of quality. Football brains galore. Congratulations TTM, 2021 Nedbank Cup Champions @KaizerChiefs,” he tweeted.
Ndlondlo who joined TTM in 2018, is in his first season in the country’s top-flight and has impressed with his dazzling displays for the DStv Premiership rookies this season.
