He’s a man who has been in the headlines a lot in 2019/20, but after being the thorn in Kaizer Chiefs’ side this season, Judas Moseamedi says it’s nothing personal…
The big Maritzburg United forward has scored seven goals in all competitions for the Team of Choice this season, and three of them have come against Amakhosi as he played a big role in knocking them out of the Telkom Knockout before also putting a dent in their title ambitions.
Now, with Moseamedi having played his part in seeing the Glamour Boys’ lead cut to just four points, the 26-year-old says that he just tries to do his best in every game, no matter who they’re facing.
When asked whether there was something about facing Chiefs, Moseamedi told the club’s official website, “No... You’ve just got to deliver on the pitch in every game. Maritzburg gave me an opportunity when no one wanted me, they believed in me and gave me the opportunity to come and play here and I did just that.
“When I got a call from the chairman asking me to come this side I was happy to have the chance to revive my career.”
Maritzburg face Stellenbosch this evening under the famed Friday Night Lights at Harry Gwala Stadium, and two more goals for Moseamedi would take him to six Absa Premiership goals for the season and make it his best campaign ever.
