On Thursday, August 27, the Mzansi football fraternity will be on the edge of their seats as two giants lock horns in a big title-deciding encounter.
Kaizer Chiefs will host Mamelodi Sundowns at the Orlando Stadium in a much-anticipated Absa Premiership encounter, which will likely decide who will be lifting the trophy come the end of the season.

The Brazilians, who are on 50 points and no longer with a game in hand, finally narrowed the gap on their Soweto rivals (53), and are now only trailing the log -leaders by just three points.
However, while it will be a six-pointer for Amakhosi on Thursday, Sundowns will remain in second place even with a win, as Chiefs will stay on top of the standings with a higher goal difference (22).
Speaking after the game on Sunday, Ernst Middendorp explained how he views Thursday’s encounter, with three games left to be played thereafter.
“I think it is a highlight of the season, our next game is a highlight of the season, we haven’t achieved what we wanted in particular in the last two games - today (Sunday) and three days ago. But we have to find solutions as I said it will be a different set-up with certain purpose,” he told the media.
“We have to see, I don’t know how far Lebogang Manyama could be, we have no idea how far Eric Mathoho is available, we definitely have to wait and probably the final decision on who will be available for selection on Thursday, will come on Wednesday.”
