The new Kaizer Chiefs technical team is set to make a decision on five players returning to Naturena.
Chiefs are already underway with training and preparations for the upcoming 2020/21 season under their new mentor, Gavin Hunt who will be assisted by Dillon Sheppard and Arthur Zwane.
While the Soweto giants are unable to make any new signings due to awaiting a decision from their two-window transfer ban appeal, Hunt has been given a boost with the return of five players.
Sanele Tshabalala, Given Thibedi, Ayanda Rorwana, Sizwe Twala and Itumeleng Shopane all make their return to Chiefs, after they spent the season out on loan with Swallows FC in the GladAfrica Champions.
However, the latest communication regarding these players is that Swallows are keen to open up discussions about the players, though will wait on a decision from the Amakhosi technical team.
“The five Kaizer Chiefs players will return to Naturena and will be assessed by the coach and his technical team. Once the coaches have a look at them and depending on the outcome of the appeal of their two-window FIFA ban, we will take the conversation forward," the club’s CEO, David Mogashoa told the Siya crew.
The Dude birds will be challenging in the top flight next season after being crowned champions of the GladAfrica Championship and it remains to be seen whether the aforementioned players will make a return to the club.
