Kaizer Chiefs coach, Gavin Hunt, has been sent a heartfelt message by his former assistant coach Paul Johnstone.
Hunt and Johnstone worked together for seven years at Wits where they achieved a lot of success in winning trophies and producing players for Bafana Bafana and overseas.
Following Hunt’s appointment in a new role after the sale of Wits to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, Johnstone has paid tribute to the four-time league winning coach in wishing him well at the Soweto giants.
“We had a good ride Gavin Hunt, 7 years as your Assistant Coach. Priceless, experiences, lesson and memories. As I grew as a coach. Time for me to forge a new path, see you in the tunnel boss. All the very best at Kaizer Chiefs [Edited],” Johnstone wrote on Twitter.
