Attempts are in progress to get former Kaizer Chiefs defender Letlhogonolo Mirwa back into the game – the Siya crew has learnt.
Following his exit from Amakhosi last year, Mirwa has struggled in his search for a new club in the Absa Premiership.
The left-back’s representatives have confirmed that they are now looking for opportunities outside Mzansi for the 25-year-old.
“Letlhogonolo Mirwa is likely to leave the country in his next deal. We are busy with all the processes for him to possibly leave for a club abroad once everything has been sorted,” said a BM Sports Consultancy representative.
Mirwa is a product of Mamelodi Sundowns development, who played for ABC Motsepe League club Buya Msuthu, before securing a big move to Chiefs in 2018.
However, the Rustenburg-born player found the going tough at the Soweto giants as he left without playing any official matches, when his contract was terminated in September last year.
