Ernst Middendorp’s side will host Mamelodi Sundowns at the Orlando Stadium tonight in a must-win encounter, with just four games left before the Absa Premiership champion is crowned.
The Soweto giants will have to utilise their plan B upfront this evening, as they will be without the services of top goalscorer, Samir Nurkovic and possibly also without Leonardo Castro through injury.
So how could they line-up without two of their most important players?
In goal, Mabalane has predicted that Chiefs will remain with Daniel Akpeyi as their number one, with Daniel Cardoso partnering up with Eric Mathoho at centre-back and Reeve Frosler and Yagan Sasman at right and left-back respectively.
In midfield, the former Orlando Pirates attacker maintained that Willard Katsande will be the man to keep things neat and tidy defensively, while Lebogang Manyama takes care of the attacking role, with Bernard Parker on the left and Dumisani Zuma on the right.
Upfront, Mabalane predicted that Khama Billiat and Lazarous Kambole will lead the attack and bring in the goals for Amakhosi.
