Chippa United have promised fire for their upcoming match against Kaizer Chiefs as coach Clinton Larsen and the team continue their fight against relegation.
The Chilli Boys are scheduled to host Amakhosi at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday in their last Absa Premiership match of the 2018/19 season.
Following their impressive 3-1 win over Polokwane City away from home in their previous match last weekend, the Eastern Cape outfit promised to put up a fight against Chiefs at home to ensure their safety in Mzansi’s top-flight.
Meanwhile, Chiefs continued this week with their trimming of the squad, after the Naturena club parted ways with Bhongolethu Jayiya.
As confirmed from the Soweto giants, the club’s decision to part ways with the player after his two seasons with them was in line with the team’s preparations for next season.
