Swallows chairman David Mogashoa has dropped the biggest hint yet that he is about to sign another Kaizer Chiefs player.
The Twitter friendly club boss took to social media on Wednesday evening and posted a picture of himself alongside Given Thibedi, a player the Siya crew reported on Tuesday was expected to make a sensational return back to the Dube Birds.
Following two years on loan at Swallows, the midfielder returned to Amakhosi to be assessed by Stuart Baxter.
Indications are that he is expected at the Dube Birds training session on Thursday ahead of completing a permanent move there.
The photo posted by Mogashoa did not have any other caption birds the birds emoji - and this week the club confirmed Thibedi’s jersey number 14 without using his full name and only his nickname ‘Manando’.
As far as the Siya crew understands, the deal is all but done with Chiefs expected to issue him his clearance.
Swallows have so far signed 13 new players (see gallery below) to boost coach Brandon Truter’s team for the new campaign, which kicks off this weekend with the MTN8.
The Dube Birds face Pirates.
