Kaizer Chiefs have agreed to use FNB Stadium for 12 of their 15 Absa Premiership matches this season, according to Stadium Management SA.
The long partnership between the two parties continues as Amakhosi look to make Soccer City a fortress and end their trophy drought of four years.

Jacques Grobbelaar, the CEO of SMSA, confirmed to the Siya crew on Thursday that the two parties had arranged to only have three league games played away from the Johannesburg-based venue. But as evidenced by the previous season, this is not set in stone as Chiefs did take five of their home fixtures across the country to Polokwane, Durban and Nelspruit.
Two of the matches were played behind closed doors at the Moses Mabhida Stadium following a sanction by the PSL as punishment for their behaviour of their unruly fans.
“Our arrangement is the same as always – we will have 12 of the 15 league matches played at FNB Stadium. The cup matches we will decide as and when they come,” Grobbelaar explained to the Siya crew.
Out of their three home games so far this season, Amakhosi have used Soccer City twice and hosted the other clash in Durban.
