Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that they will be taking a chartered flight to Burkina Faso, while they also revealed their travelling squad for their CAF Champions League group stage tie.
Amakhosi kickstarted their group C campaign with a goalless draw against Guinean outfit Horoya at FNB Stadium and now have an even tougher task against Moroccan outfit Wydad Casablanca on neutral ground on Sunday, with the game set to kickoff at 18h00 SA time.
The game will be played at 4 August Stadium in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, after Amakhosi were denied visas to enter Morocco, due to concerns of COVID-19 restrictions. The match was initially meant to be played on February 13, but was postponed.
Chiefs expect to be back in South Africa on Monday to prepare for their third group stage match against Angolan outfit Petro de Luanda.
The club announced an 18-man squad to travel to Burkina Faso. Zambian striker Lazarous Kambole has been included in the squad, having not been included in the 18-man squad two weeks ago, before this clash was postponed.
