After confirming the exits of three first team Kaizer Chiefs players today, football manager, Bobby Motaung explained that these situations are all part of the game.
George Maluleka saw a six and a half year stay with Amakhosi come to an end today, June 30, after the Soweto giants confirmed that the player will not be completing the 2019/20 season at Naturena.
Maluleka signed a pre-contract with Sundowns back in March this year, though the Brazilians are yet to make an official announcement about his signature.
Meanwhile, Chiefs also announced that they have not renewed the contracts of Joseph Molangoane and Kabelo Mahlasela, who also both saw their deals expire today.
However, it’s all part of the game, says Chiefs’ football manager, Motaung.
“We thank the players for their service. This is how football changes, the dynamics change, and we have to accept that change is part of the game. I can only wish the players all of the best in their future endeavours,” he was quoted on Chiefs’ official website.
In other news, Amakhosi confirmed yesterday that Philani Zulu, Siphelele Ntshangase and Brylon Petersen all put pen to paper on new one-year deals at the club.
